After Dean's comment about wanting to be the candidate for the guys with
conferderate flags in their trucks there was a small media frenzy. The
angle appeared to be attacking Dean for wanting to relate to "poor
whites." The media also concentrated on the negative effects of this on
his campaign, though there could be positive ones (poor whites voting for
him). Is this fair to Dean?
