John Kerry opens up a barrage of allegations that Bush didn't send
enough troops to secure weapons depots in Iraq. To add credibility to
these
claims, KTVU TV in Oakland, CA reported that an Airborne Ranger commander
was at the dump where the nearly 400 tons of explosives were stored. The
commander said that his troops did a short inspection of the facility and
found it still sealed and saw bombs there. This is in contradiction to
Rumsfeld's claim that the weapons were stolen before the troops were
there.
The Pentagon is in a mode where they're trying to protect Bush. Rumsfeld,
the man who runs the Pentagon is apparently putting out a new lie about
the
missing weapons. One of his own commanders said the explosives were there
after the invasion but the Pentagon seems to want to ignore him. Bush
knows
this is a big blunder of his. The fact is there were NUMEROUS facilities
in
Iraq that housed lots of explosives and went unguarded because Bush failed
to send enough troops to do that job.
