Exactly. OBL and AQ don't give a rat's arse who is in office--their beef
is
about foreign policy. Why didn't we go and get this monster instead of
detouring to Iraq? It's good enough for Bush and Cheney to trumpet about
"75% of AQ has been eradicated," but that 75% is the leadership only--and
those slots are refilled pretty quickly.

Well said. What I don't understand is that we haven't focused on curbing
foreign policy excesses--we've just accrued more. "OH! Instead of fixing
ourselves, let's fix THEM because to do anything else is tantamount to
appeasement!" And Lord, before I get accused of being a
blame-America-firster, I'm not, but we do have our faults and to ignore
them
is disgraceful. To quesiton America and her policies is not equivalent to
seeking her destruction.
