After looking at the article and images, I see where you could question the
"newsworthyness" of a story such as this. To be honest, I don't see the
story either, but in my Journalism class this semester, we have been
trying
to look beyond the surface and see if we can determine another reason for
the story than what we may think. For instance, in this case, there may
be
a story here because image is always a critical component in elections,
especially since televised news debates. Though Bush adjusting his tie to
reveal a "black line" may not be a newsworthy topic to make the front page
of the paper, it may spark reader interest on the basis of public
appearance.
