Has anyone here seen Charles Kaiser's article on gay Republicans in the
new issue of Out magazine?
It's a clip-job and no better than that. He fails to interview a single
gay Republican and relies on secondary sources exclusively.
His number one example of gay Republicans? Terry Dolan, who's been dead
for nearly a quarter-century.
I know I'm not the first to blog about this -- GayPatriotWest touched on
it late Tuesday -- but here's my take on it, for what it's worth:

I suspect that the article was actually written by a research assistant
and Kaiser put his name on it. To say it's amateurish gives amateurs a
bad name.
