Some of you may know me as the Online News Manager at KRON 4 Television in
San Francisco. There I helped to form The Bay Area is Talking blog
aggregator (now on tem****ary hiatus). A few of you may know me from my 20+
year career in broadcasting. Others may have been fans of my previous
incarnations of the "BS Blog". Even more may know me for my work with
Avenged Sevenfold. You might even know me from MySpace.

At the recent Blogher conference, I listened in on a session that urged
bloggers to concentrate on one thing and focus on that one subject matter
if
they hope to make money. Well, I have no intention of doing that. The
truth
is that I have many passions. They include news, television, the future of
media, the future of online communications, music (heavy metal to jazz and
beyond), books, writing, cognitive liberties, and much more. Chances are I
will bounce around among posts about world politics, headbanging, Media
2.0,
brainjamming, Sun Ra, television news, blogging, brain change, and
whatever
strikes my fancy.
