booze up and riot is the title of my first book.
please forgive my trespass boys and girls. I confess to being an
interloper, a carpetbagger, a man of ill repute (but impeccable
letters). a shameless self-promoter but, most im****tantly, I am a
****in' eh certified (certifiable, surely?) grade A gonzo journalist.
and I am, of course, here to promote my first book:

the book is the harrowing, horrifying and hilarious tale of one gonzo
journalist's 10 month merciless campaign to destroy an evil oligarchy
that had controlled vancouver city hall for more than a decade.
said gonzo journalist - an infamous political **** disturber named
brian godzilla salmi (that would be me) - also attempts to beat down
the city's out-of-control police department with a relentless,
unparalleled word assault.
salmi, a former marijuana miner and connoisseur of all manner of
intoxicants, goes looking for love in the wrongest of places -
vancouver's downtown eastside, the worst urban drug ghetto in north
america.
suffering from a serious love deficiency, the story's hero nearly
destroys himself but is, ultimately, saved by the love of a girl he
has never met.
booze up and riot is the return of gonzo journalism, the strange word
craft thought extinct since the legendary hunter s thompson put a gun
in his mouth and painted the ceiling of his kitchen with the insides
of his head on february 20, 2005.

being a carpertbagger). it is my fulltime occupation for the
foreseeable future to promote my book. there are millions of gonzo
journalism fans and it is my mission to find them all. the land is
without a king and I am prepared to make my case to the people of the
kingdom of gonzo that I am worthy of ascension to the blood-
splattered, empty throne.

so it shall be impossible for me to make but a few whistle stops at
