There are no REAL "histories" of Saddam.... he is a  *current event.*

As to Iraq.... if anyone had studied a little history of the middle east,
it's just as Lawrence of Arabia warned us about almost a century ago....
you can not occupy this region nor can you mistreat the Musselmen.
If REAL "history" were involved in making rational decisions, the USA
would never have entered this region with combat and occupation in
mind.

I am merely 'advising'... that you search through the mountains of
innuendo, hyperbole, and disinformation to try and obtain a little
hard evidence.... and if it isn't there, continue your search elsewhere.
Don't simply buy up anything the media or the Pentagon care to tell
you in a time of crises.... it's all censored and much of it fabricated
to fit the agenda.  There will always be more than meets the eye.
