I'm a lot more concerned about the Asians coming in on H1B visas
taking *skilled* positions, not to mention the ex****t of jobs to
India, Philippines and other Asian spots.

A lot of folks would rather pay somebody to come mow the lawn than
give their son a lawnmower for his 13th birthday.

Bingo! "We" "The People" We've pushed responsibility for our
problems onto government because as a society, we've wanted to. The
People have to take charge and work in their and their neighbor
communities to make them better places.

How many kids are applying at McDonalds? I was in a Church's Chicken
yesterday. Mr Pudgy White Boy seemed tired and going through the
motions. Took my order in a sort of wheel in a cog way and then went
about whatever other business he might have had. Old, black man comes
in. Pudgy whitey not only messes up the order, messes up the
register. Mr Dark India from probably a lower caste is taking window
orders and without skipping a beat, fixes the register, takes the Old
Black Man's order and then delivers his next order to the window. The
Mexican kept the food bar rotated and orders packed, the black cook
had my shrimp and livers out in good time and they were delicious!
America! What a country! A great place to find a party. In Russia,
the Party comes looking for *you*.

The damage to our economy is caused by the disparity in dollar value
against other currencies. George Bush, whether deliberately or not,
is remedying that issue. The collapsing dollar might hurt at the gas
pump and grocery store, but in a few years it will have resulted in a
boom in domestic production and good jobs.

They're very pleasant to deal with. More im****tantly, they strive to
please the customer. When I first moved to Calhoun, it took a while
to find a place that carried my brand. The most convenient store
didn't (but they do now) and in the end it turned out that only an
Indian owned cig shop and a Pakistani owned gas store across the
street carried my brand and they're fresh. In contrast, when I first
got here there was a blonde, white woman who owned a tobacco shop much
closer to the house. She had four cartons on hand. I bought them,
one at a time every week, week and a half or so and when they ran out,
she didn't order any more! That's how I ended up finding the Indian
and Pakistani stores. And now there's a Korean store recently sold to
a ME Muslim that carries them. It's gas is a nickel higher but often
more convenient and what's forty five cents on a fifty dollar fill up
anyway?
