All of the Persian Empire was not 'Persia' any more than all of the
British Empire was 'Britain' or all of the Ottoman Empire was
'Turkey'.
Buy a dictionary and look up 'Iran'. You'll find that it was called
'Persia' until the 1930s. Iraq was never called 'Persia'.

You can't read. MY claim is that Iraq is *NOT* Persia; IRAN is

Nobody said anything about 'effects'. Is it your contention that
Canada can correctly be referred to as 'Britain'? Is it your
contention that Australia can correctly be referred to as 'Britain'?
As for 'effects', let's examine Iran and Iraq, shall we? Iranians are
ethnically different from Iraqis.
Iranians are: Persian 51%, Azerbaijani 24%, Gilaki and Mazandarani 8%,
Kurd 7%, Arab 3%, Lur 2%, Baloch 2%, Turkmen 2%, other 1%. Note how
small that Arab minority is.
Iraqis are: Arab 75%–80%, Kurdish 15%–20%, Turkoman, Assyrian, or
other 5%. Note that 'Persian' doesn't even get mentioned.
Iranians speak Farsi. Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish.
The two cultures are very different. Yet you keep trying to act as if
'Iraq' and 'Persia' are the same.
