Three seriously hurt when paratrooper hits Tel Aviv crowd

Eight people were injured - three seriously and five lightly - when a
paratrooper mistakenly parachuted into the stands where spectators were
seated during an Independence Day air show along Tel Aviv's Jerusalem
beach
on Thursday. The paratrooper and another spectator were evacuated to
hospital in serious condition.
The Israel Defense Forces staged a flyover display over the beach, which
included a skydiving display by soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade.
