An old myth of "Reconquista' (Re-conquest) Sup****ters is that
'Mexican' is somehow a race and not a nationality and that 'Mexicans'
were somehow indigenous to the southwestern United States.
Both are lies made up by racist brown-supremacist groups and even
taught to children in some schools south of the border.
Let us Review:
Mexico was founded when the SPANISH colonists declared independence
from SPAIN.
There was no Mexico and therefore no Mexicans until the invaders from
EUROPE declared independence from Spain in 1810.
In fact, the REAL Native Americans are still alive today, thriving on
and off reservations and most of these American Nations are Federally
Recognized.

The people who were 'here first' in California were the Chumash,
Tongva and other NATIVE AMERICAN tribes. They built a civilization
that goes back thousands of years.
The Aztecs NEVER lived in the United States either. The Aztecs ARE
NOT indigenous to ANY US Territories
Rewriting history to say there was anything remotely like a "Mexican"
before 1810 is a vicious lie is an insult to the brave men and women
who have fought and died for this country - and are still fighting to
