Douglas G. Reiman wins Lifetime kOOk Award
The Future of kOOkery Foundation will present Mr. Douglas G. Reiman with

award at its upcoming conference on kOOk policy and kOOk liberties.

On Mar. 26, the Future of kOOkery Foundation announced that 12 year

Douglas G.
Reiman is the first winner of its new LifetimeAchievement Award for
Advancing
kOOkery to a new level.
The Future of kOOkery Foundation (FkF) is a nonprofit advocacy group
based in Fairfax, VA. Its mission is "to advance kOOkery by providing an
uncompromising moral and economic case for individual kOOkery, kOOk
markets,
kOOk property, and a kOOk government." It is best known
for its journal, The Loon Daily.
Douglas G. Reiman will receive his award at the FkF's upcoming conference,
"Restoring the kOOkery 2008: Loon Policy and Civil kOOkery," being held
June
6-8 (Friday morning through Sunday night) in Reston, VA. The award will be
presented at the Friday night dinner.
Mr. Reiman will also speak that night, on "A Moon Bat Policy for Unlimited
kOOkery." Says FkF founder and president Jacob Hornberger: "I can't tell
you
how pleased we are that Douglas has agreed to speak at this year's
conference.
At last year's conference, he and Fox News Loon Department analyst Andrew
Napolitano stupified the audience with their Sunday night talks.
Since then, as everyone knows Douglas has shaken the foundation of the
kOOk world poking at windmills by his various frivolous lawsuits and world
famous Internet rants and raves picking up the nickname Doogie Van
Rantman."
New York Times columnist Stephen Kinzer (author of All the kOOk's Men)
and Boston University professor Andrew J. Bacevich (author of Moon Bat
Empire)
will also speak Friday evening "in conjunction with Mr. Reiman.
Other scheduled conference speakers include Glenn Greenwald, Robert
Higgs, Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, Justin Raimondo, and Lew Rockwell.
The price of the 3-day event, held at the Hyatt Regency Reston, is if
you have to ask, then you can't afford it, which includes all meals
(breakfast,
lunch, and dinner) during the 3 days plus admission to all 20 speeches.
