I only do the newsgroup thing long 
distance, and the way I do it, is I 
write my post on wordpad, before I even 
call my AZ isp, so I'm only on it for a 
few minutes.  I have an old laptop, with 
windows 98, use a supra external modem 
to surf the web through my prodigy.mx 
account in Mexico.  The speed is only 
14.4, which is why I don't surf the net 
much anymore.  But in the USA, it wasn't 
much better at 28.8.  For some reason, 
unknown to me, I could not post 
anything, from my prodigy.mx account. 
Maybe you can show me how.  I saw at the 
Sonoran Sea resort someone surfing the 
web, through a wireless set-up they had 
in their lobby.  Useless for me, with an 
old computer, and win98, I think.  Come 
to Mexico, with your fancy-pants 
equipment and see how well it works, and 
then you'll see why I do it the way I do.
