They still are. If Boob Barr goes through with his threat to run a
third party campaign (some rumors that it'll be Libertarian, but I
think Ron Paul has a lock on that nomination, and he has a lot more
money...), the far right loons will vote that way in droves. If not,
then they'll just sit on their *****. The far right is pissed off, and
they plan to stay away from the polls in droves this year. And
especially with McCain as the nominee.

It'll never happen, so the point is moot.
McCain is the candidate the Republicans tried NOT to run for the last
20 years, for the reasons you will see in the coming months.
